mobo-Asus striker II Extreme

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale

Antec Nine Hundred Two

Noctua NH-U12P 120mm cpu cooler

CORSAIR 620HX 620W

SPARKLE GeForce 9600

Kingston 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin

Please check if everthing will fit perfectly and idd like to get a lil better bang for the buck harddrive,cd/dvd drive, RAM ...please check into that aswell, atleast 350gb hd and atleast 2 2gb ram sticks. And a pretty cheap dvd/cd drive please.

Thanks in advance everything

p.s. im buying everything directly from newegg if you simply do a search at www.newegg.com you will come up with the specs for each item.

Updates:
i will be cooling with a Thermaltake CL-W0075 Liquid Cooling System

i forgot to mention im running 2 of those gpus sli'd on the mobo and setting up 4 17inch acer screens simultamualsy(however u spell)

I can see where I could get you way more bang for your buck.

1) what is your budget.

2) what is your screen / monitor resolution

3) and this is for a gaming rig yes ?

yes this is for a gaming rig, my budget im trying to keep under 1.4grand and ill be setting up qaud screens sli'd, they will be 17inch acers i believe, im keeping it cheap on the screens. And with the sli i can run it so i can have 4 different windows opened up at the same time one on each screen, correct?

The Striker II Extreme takes DDR3. Is the RAM you picked DDR3? If it's DDR2 it won't do. Also, I simply can't figure out why you'd pay $200+ for a 790i motherboard when you're only getting a single graphics card, and not even a serious gaming one.

Try something this instead:
GA-EP45-UD3R
E8500
Antec 902
NH-U12P (make sure it's the LGA-775 version, not the SE1366 version)
Corsair 650TX
WD6401AALS drive
SH-S223Q dvd drive

Crucial 2x2GB DDR2-800

For the graphics card, you need to make a decision. Are you going to play games? If yes, at what resolution?

Edit: oops, I missed a lot of replies while typing all that. You need a better graphics card. Start looking at GTS 250, HD 4870, GTX 275, HD 4890.

This build is set up to run two of those cards in SLI and also to over clock if you so choose.
