Hey this is my first time to pose a question to the Tom crowd but I was recently trying to install a new 500gig western digital hard drive on my computer. Now I already have one that is a 500 that reads as a 320 and I assumed that perhaps the drive was broken and on its way out. Turns out this may not be the case. I have a Terabyte drive that works fine and a Seagate 500 gig that works fine too. whats the deal? I've searched everywhere and I've even partitioned the snot out of these and nothing seems to fix the issue.

I'm updating my ASUS PB5 Deluxe bios right now even though they aren't that old.
