Sup.

I am about to buy a 9800GX2, however I am not sure if my PSU will be able to handle it (until I can buy a new one in a few weeks).
According to a review I found on this site a 450W PSU should be sufficient as long as it's from a good brand, and Tagan far as I understand is a good brand.

My PSU don't have a 8-pin PCI-E cord, so I guess I have to buy a 6->8 pin converterthingie? http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=376202

In short, will my Tagan Easycon 480W be able to handle a 9800GX2?

Yes, though I consider a good brand CORSAIR.
