Hi, I have recently purchased the following card:

'Sapphire HD 4350 512MB with 1GB HyperMemory DDR2 VGA DVI HDMI PCI-E'

I connected it to my TV via both the DVI (via DVI->HDMI cable) and HDMI out on the card to both HDMI ports on the TV.

The resolution on the desktop is 800x600 and the TV is 720p.

The image I get with the DVI output is clearly better than the HDMI output and I am not sure how to make the HDMI output as good as the DVI output.

Has anyone come across this before?

well, did you try switching the resolution to 1280x720 (720p)

i tried setting the pc desktop resolution to the next one up after 800x600 which is closest to 720p but I get the same result.
