Hello,
My system specs is :
MOBO : ASUS P5KPL-AM SE
CPU : Intel E2180 @ 2.0ghz
VGA: ASUS ENGT430 1GB
RAM : 2x1GB -KINGSTONN PC-6400 800mhz

Recently i play dirt 2 v1.1 on 1440x900 2xAA @medium graphics DX11 on Win 7 64 with these settings

1. Default ( no overclock )

Avg : 28fps
Min : 25fps

2. E2180 @ 2.6 ghz ( 260x10 )
FSB : DRAM=3:5 ( ram ~433 MHZx2 )
VGA no overclock

Avg : 38 fps
Min : 31 fps

3. E2180 @ 2.8 ghz ( 280x10 )
FSB : DRAM=3:5 ( ram ~466MHZx2 )
VGA no overclock

Avg : 45 fps
Min : 31 fps

SO there is clearly CPU or RAM bottleneck which prevents VGA, ( gt430 should perform better ) but which one is it ?
Because everytime i increase my fsb, ram bus increases to. And how can I keep the ram not so hot ?

My MOBO is a crappy one which cannot adjust the fps:dram ratio. I have increased maximum vcore,... in bios but look likes my cpu can't get pass 3.0 ghz.

Plz guy suggest a reasonable dual core and ram overclock speed for dirt 2 + starcraft 2 and ram settings .

One more question, if i set my cpu fsb to 300 mhz and multiplier 9, does it better than fbs 270 mhz with multiplier 10.

Sorry for my bad english

Your CPU is a huge bottleneck until you get it to about 2.8ghz. After that, its the GT430. It is doing about all it is going to do once your CPU clock hits 2.8~3.0ghz. It's a value minded card, performs on par with a 5670.
Nothing really wrong with your memory. Your memory is not the fastest of the fast, but memory really makes little difference in actual use.

Since you are using Win 7 x64, I would suggest you increase your RAM to 4GB. RAM is cheap and it will help with your overall system performance. In fact, I now consider 4GB to be the minimum acceptable amount of RAM in all of my systems.

Good luck!

So what about Starcraft 2, can you recommend a good c2d for my current rig ?

I have seen a Phenom Triple-core @ 2.13 ghz + HD 5770 get 20 fps at Hyperion arrival scene ( while normal FPS is 60 at High settings..)
