I would really like to be able to have my pc and my 360 plugged into my monitor at the same time so I can switch between them at will.

I'm using a viewsonic va2012w, which has a vga and a dvi input. My pc came with a vga cable and two vga to dvi adaptors, one of which is plugged into my graphics card, the other end I've left as VGA as I couldn't get the monitor to work with the second dvi adaptor when I first set it up.

Today I've been faffing about trying to get the monitor to pick up either my pc or 360 if I plug the second vga to dvi connector onto the end of it, but with no joy.

I have an 8800GT in my pc if thats any help.

I'm sure I'm doing something stupidly wrong, or its just not possible. Any ideas?
