I bought a 9800GTX+, is it worth it to return it for a GTS250? Even power and temp-wise is it better for my PC? Both would be 512MB. Primarily used for FSX.

The GTS 250 uses slightly less power than the 9800GTX+ however the 9800GTX+ is a slightly more powerfull card because of that. Unless the card is defective I would not return it.

They are the same card just rebranded...

They are basically the same card.

The GT250's advantages is that it uses slightly less power and is about an inch shorter.

The 9800GTX+'s advantages is that it can SLi with the 9800GTX, 9800GTX+, and the GTS250. (whereas the GTS250 can only SLi with the latter two)

Basically the same card. If they cost the same then you may want to exchange it just to save a little on you're power bill, but that's about it.

If I had the choice, I'd probably chose the 250, but since you already have the 9800 I don't think it is worth the effort to return it. Stick with the card you are getting (I'm sure you will find it quite good).
