Antec NEO HE 500w question

Just installed a new video card (Sapphire HD 3850 - AGP) on an older rig. I had read that it takes a decent ammount of juice so I installed Hmonitor to see what my power readings were. For the +12v rail it reads +11.71v (max=+11.71, min=+11.71) and the +5v rail reads +4.79v (max=+4.79, min=+4.79) and both are in red. Now I really dont know anything in terms of PSU's but Im guessing that red is bad . Is someting wrong with my PSU? Why is the max and the min the same? These readings are also with just Windows running, not under any kind of load.

Software readings cannot be trusted. You need to measure with a DMM.

Yeah, Ive gotten that impression by reading around...still are those readings bad if there were accurate?

No, they are within the +/- 5% spec, but as theAnimal said, use a DMM to be certain.
