I deleted my pictures file/folder by mistake from my windows xp

I deleted 'my pictures' original folder/file from my documents bymistake and also deleted out of my recycle bin by mistake and now it must be on my hard drive... Is there anyway I can get my orginal 'my pictures' folder/file back so I can use it to put my pictures in it... Thank you for your help...
I have a windows xp computer...
