Which of the two motherboards?

I have bought an Athlon II X3 440 GMBOX (C3 stepping) CACAC AC (Deneb die). I am yet to buy a motherboard. I want to give ACC a try for core unlocking, and if it fails, I want to O/C the X3 extremely before I buy the next X4 or X6.
My personal choice is ASUS M4A88T-M LE because of its precise voltage control, all solid capacitors and on-board surge protection. But I came upon the following thread-

Now, in my city Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H rev 1.3 is also available at almost the same price. I do not care much about gaming or HTPC. What do I do?

More about which motherboards
  1. Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

I'd go with the Gigabyte mobo.
  2. Is there any specific reason for that? TheGigabyte board is fine, but its voltage increments of CPU, NB, RAM etc. are coarser. Moreover, I've heard that effectiveness of ACC in core-unlocking varies mith mobo models also, alongwith the specific processor in question. Is it true?

Support more RAM and has more PCI-E lines. Yeah, the core unlocking depends of mobo and CPU.
  4. I've ultimately bought Asus M4A78LT-M. It is a very good board and cheaper too. It unlocked the L3 of my CPU.
