I am looking to buy an ASUS Maximus III GENE LGA 1156 Intel P55 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard. The specs on the motherboard says it supports dual channel memory. I want to know if a Quad Channel kit of CORSAIR DOMINATOR 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory will work as a Quad Channel or if it is going to run in dual channel mode or if it will just be incompatable all together.

It isn't Quad channel, but a kit containing 4 modules. They will run in dual channel mode.

The kit you're looking at consists of two dual-channel sets, or, just look at the last guy's response.
