I am looking to hire computer repair techs to diagnose hardware issues and refurbish PCs, laptops, servers, Macs, etc and I need to create an ability test. Does anyone have suggestions for questions? Primarily hardware, minimal software concerns.

2) what was your first build?
3) what are some complications you have faced, in your builds.

seriously, if they dont build their own computers. i wouldnt hire them. ^^

how long is this test, you could have a heap of parts and tell them to make a computer out of it (put some non-working parts in there)
