I'm looking for a SSD for my custom gaming pc i built a while back.

Preferences
- Has to be from bestbuy online
- 80GB +
- I'll spend up to $300
- I'm installing windows 7 64 pro, adobe master suite and some games on it.

I know there isn't much to choose from, but i'm clueless :( and after doing some reading, i still can't make up my mind on what is a good deal.

I need one from here:

Of the 3 the C300 is the fastest. The GSkill and OCZ follow closly behind. The Crucial is a bit faster even in SATA 2 testing.

Hello anort3, thank you for the quick response. You are right, after comparing prices, Best Buy seems more expensive. Hmm, screw the bestbuy card then :)

So I was looking at newegg, so which would you recommend between these two:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148362

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231378

Or is there one that is much better? I'm not extremely picky here, as I know any of them will blow away my HDD.

I see the Crucial has quicker read speeds, so i'm guessing that would transfer into better performance? I'm not sure how it works fully.

You don't have SATA III on your MOBO so you wont get the speeds listed on the Crucial so go with:

G.SKILL Phoenix Pro Series FM-25S2S-120GBP2 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

or

OCZ Vertex 2 OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Model OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G
