Okay. I have a Laptop that started out at 1 Gb in mem, and now it has 2. I was wondering if it would hinder my system to out in a 4 Gb or higher memory?
It doesn't hinder any system to put in 4GBs of RAM - they all love it!
But perhaps you want to know if your system can have 4GB of RAM put in it - no way of knowing since you didn't tell us the brand/model of your laptop.
And this question is likely answered on your laptop's website specs page - it's where we'll go to answer it. So might just check it yourself! Post back here with the site URL and model name/number and we'll see - if you can't find the info.

Yeah. Sorry. My compters site if really friggin' worthless... They don't post anything worth crap up there, unless you want some boot cds. Right now I have a Compaq Presario C700 Notebook
Vista 32bit Home Pre.
15 inch screen
1.6 GHz Celeron Dual
500 Gb HD SATA
2x 1 Gb DDR2
Wireless
I would like to put some more ram in there so I can run my games at least a little better.
My laptop is a c700NR. And yeah I know it's under exploding battery. It should be under "OVER-HEATS EXTREMELY EASILY" list. The graphics card has a lot of heat, and the fan don't work worth anything.
