Ya know, we as users are best with both AMD and Intel in the market.
I'm been a big fan of Intel since I touched my first 4.77MHz 8088. I saw NEC's V-20 appear on the scene and thought it was good for Intel to have some competition. Same with Motorola and their CPUs. AMD has been a boon for consumers because it forces Intel to stay on top of their designers and keep improving their CPUs.
I hate to see stuff like this happen. Despite my fondness for Intel, I've bought AMD for the past 15 yrs simply to do my share to keep them in business.

Actually, if nVidia's CEO were less of a loose cannon who loves to run around pissing his partners off, then they may have reached a deal with Intel ahead of time and avoided the whole mess.
------------------------------Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

Maybe NV screwed themselfs - How may intel chipsets supported SLI be for i5/i7 and why, maybe intel is just getting even (me, I might be tempted to do the samething .
personally I hate these lawsuits - the ones that get stuck in the crossfire is US.
