Video card bad?

Just recently when i start up my computer, only one of my monitors starts and its on the lowest resolution. I believe my computer is using my onboard video, i tried everything, but i can get my gfx card to work or my computer to recognize it. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please guys, i dont want to have to send back my gfx card if i dont have to...

You have both monitors hooked to one video card?

Did you mean you CANT get the graphics card to work or be recognized? Because you said you CAN.

Your computer couldn't be using onboard video unless the monitor is plugged into the motherboard.

solved the problem, driver problem.
