I've done some research on this and it seems like you can't SLI with dual monitors, but you can use one GPU per monitor? Now what I want to know is the performance when doing this. Will it be significantly less than running SLI with one monitor? What exactly does having one GPU per monitor do?
"NVIDIA has implemented dual monitor support for SLI systems with the introduction of the 180 driver set, so looking into that may be worth your while." - Exitos; Nvidia forum
Apparently this may or may not be true, but updating your drivers to the latest version will allow both options to be set in the nvidia control panel
