No letter drive

Its my first build, i have been using a 120gb ssd as a os drive for about 2 weeks. I just bought a 1tb samsung sata drive for storage but i cant get it to pop up under my computer. under device manager the hdd is reconized and is working properly. this is probably a stupid question but any help is appreciated.

mobo-msi big bang
cpu- i7 930
ssd- ocz agility 2 120g
hdd- samsung spinpoint f3 1tb

You need to partition and format the drive in Disk Management before Windows will assign a drive letter to it.

Start -> right-click "Computer" -> Manage

Click "Disk Management" in the left pane

Scroll to the bottom of the middle pane and find your new drive. Right-click on it to create a volume (partition it) and then format it.
