Just a shout out to all the people that helped in getting my cheap build together, thanks. Anyways, I thought it'd be fun to show you guys the before and after builds with tom's hardware in between.

BEFORE:

case: RAIDMAX SMILODON Extreme Black With 500W PSU = $94.99

cpu + mobo: Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz + GIGABYTE GA-EP43-UD3L = $144.98

memory: G.SKILL HK 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 = $42.99

hdd: Western Digital Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB 7200 RPM = $59.99

video: XFX GS250XYDFC GeForce GTS 250 512MB = $129.99

psu: comes with case

cd/dvd: LG 22X DVD±R DVD IDE = $22.99

Total: $496

AFTER:

case: ANTEC 300 = $59.99

cpu + mobo: Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz + GIGABYTE GA-G31M-ES2L = $113.98

memory: G.SKILL HK 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 = $42.99

hdd: Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB = $74.99

video: None yet.

psu: CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W = $49.99

cd/dvd: LG 22X DVD±R SATA = $24.99

Total: $367

There was an improvement in practically every area. I went with the cheaper mATX board because I eventually want to upgrade to an i7, this also gave me more time to think about my video card since it has onboard graphics. I'll see you guys in the other parts of the forum. I now have the task of figuring out how to build it and learn how to overclock, lol.

Thanks! I can't wait to get my hands on all the parts. Hopefully I don't break anything, lol.
