I recently updated drivers for my system and discovered that I now seem to have a phantom scsi cd rom device that tells me it is drive D and is a blue ray/hd reader modle# ZGX RODQNG5AB. It also now tells me that my plextor sata burner is a scsi cdrom device. The Plextor works fine. I have tried uninstalling drive D but the computer always detecs it as new hardware. The computer uses microsoft driver 5.1.2535.0 for both devices. Any Ideas how to get rid of it or even why it is there.

:ouch: I feel lke such a dummy. I forgot that I had set daemon tools for one device. I dont normally configure it that way and since I havnt used it for several weeks I just forgot. I guess thats what happens when you get old  Thanks live long and prosper
