4770 Decision Time

Hey

After a few days of studying the 4770 against the other competitor cards, I decided that it would be the best card for me. I like to play games on high detail (can live with normal graphics) but I only play on a 15" LCD so an extreme card would be unnessercery. I play games along the lines of Left 4 Dead, Portal, Fallout 3, Spider Solitaire etc, but always like to try the latest game which can be quiet demanding graphically, sometimes.
That will hopefully give you an idea of why I chose the 4770.

Anyways, I'm deciding between the Sapphire and the XFX version of the 4770. Both are the same price ($249NZD) so that makes the decision quite difficult for me. Anyone have an idea of the cooling, noise, performance and overall which is better between the two?

Also, the Sapphire 4850 is $269, if that would impact the decision between the two 4770s.

Thanks

HD 4670 would kill anything maxd out at that res(1024X768). Though the 4770 would be more future proof hoping that future DX11 titles will also come with DX10 mode.
Though your best bet would be to get a 4670 and wait for the DX11 cards to be released in Q3/Q4 and grab one then.

Thanks for the help, I will definitly look into getting a better monitor. I have actually sold my 9800GT to a mate, just forgot to to update on here =D. I might get a 4670 in that case for my current monitor while I wait for my bank to have enough money for a new monitor. Would a 4670 be good enough for a ~22" monitor at medium detail graphics? I will most likely wait until the new cards come out, assuming the price isn't too high :)
