Hey all,
I have a sapphire 6950 that is great but at the same time has some problems... its stock with the newest drivers (haven't flashed it to a 6970 or anything) and it gets a 1220 heaven 2.1 score (can run the benchmark over and over), and will run furmark as long as i want it to, but when i play WoW it randomly black screens till I have to manually restart, and when I try to play Starcraft II it blue screens (something about driver issue). Just was curious if anyway else has been having this problem or something similar.

Thanks !!!

O, and I also RMA'd my first card thinking it was a bad card but the second one does the same exact thing.

What drivers are you using 10.12? if so you may want to try 10.11a.

Here's a proper link and you're looking at the old regular mainstream November 2010 CCC suite.
This link is legit but keep in mind these are beta drivers leaked on January 13/11.
They are very hard to find at the moment.

Also out of curiosity is your system new?
Have you had bsod's before the new card.
Have you Memtested your ram before?
Always completely uninstall previous gpu drivers before installing new ones.
You should have usefull free apps like CCleaner on your rig as well as DriverSweeper.

thank you with the new drivers I have only had one black screen and it was on WoW (I think Cata is still rough). the computer I am using is as new as the card (built it right around christmas) it is as follows:
AMD 955 BE OC to 3.91 using the Cooler Master 212+
AsRock Deluxe 4 motherboard
4 Gigs of G. Skill ripjaw 1600 currently only running 1333 (more stable for cpu OC)
7200 rpm HDD with Windows 7 64 pro on it
1000w kingwin bronze certified PSU
all inside a cm 690 II advanced case

as to the Memtest I havn't used that exact program, but I have ran the PCmark mem test multiple times with no problems.
I have never used driversweeper (will try it out) and do use CCleaner

Thank you ! :)

O and about uninstalling drivers before installing new ones.... I've just been using catalyst to install... Do I actually need to go into the driver manager and delete the drivers before i install new ones?

In short yes!
I've been using Ati gpu's since 2002 and deleting ATI/CCC in add/remove programs delivers the best results.
Now here's what i've been doing for the few years.
After uninstalling in add/remove
I use DriverSweeper in safemode
I'll guarantee there will be a long list of Ati renmants.
Check of Ati
Analyze and clean
Restart normal mode
Install latest drivers for your gpu
This method has provided the best results for me .
Btw found a revised 10.11a download

Ya the new drivers improved my 6950 heaven score quite a bit... Still having a few problems with my RIG but they should be fixed here after my new RAM arrives... Thanks again!

(I was almost tempted to just get a 570, you saved me some money)
