Quick question on what i need

So I need to decide on a cd/dvd writer for my computer build. Everything else is finalized. What I think i want to use is:

anyways what I was wondering do I need driver software or cables. I am getting all the other parts. Motherboard, cpu, etc. Its a $700-800 build. Anyways do I need anything else or can I just pick this up and be done with it. I will also take suggestions on other writers..... Thanks in advance

Assuming you're going to use some version of windows, all you'll need is a SATA data cable to run from a free SATA port on the motherboard to the ODD. Your PSU should already have the SATA power connector or a MOLEX to SATA power converter cable for power.
