Laptop keyboard not working

my dell inspiron 1545 laptop some keys are not working. like: enter, backspace, delete, left arrow, right arrow etc.
please advise the solution

Hi, if it's stuck when you press those buttons, then it needs to be cleaned, either by pulling the offending buttons out or taking the laptop to your local pc shop so they can open it up and clean it for you. It can also be because of the buttons being overly used over the years. In the meantime you can just plug in a ps/2 or usb keyboard
