Ok, I thought I would try on my own thread as I seem to have Hijacked someone elses. (sorry)
Ok, the situation is as such.....
I have a
AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 4200+ Processor
Asus A8N-sli Mobo
4 x 512mb corsair Ram
1x 250gb and 1x 80gb HD
BFG 8800gts 640mb GC.

Now every time I play games I get a BSOD with above message. I have reinstalled windows 3 times and still get it.
I had a bfg 8800gts 320mb before and it was the same, I have tested both cards in my mates pc and no probs.
Yet still in mine probs. I have run memtest86 =no probs, I have run Prime95 no probs I have run ATItool and still no probs.
I am at the end of my tether, I am a noob at all this, so please put things in laymans terms, (with diags if pos. lol)
It only happens when I play games and the rest of the time its fine.
The card Idles at about 57o Celcius and no Idea what to do now.
I have been evrywhere else and they just tell me to do the things I have ALREADY done.
If it helps I can give you the peramiters as well but I don't have a clue.

PLEASE, please help me.

do you have a wireless network?

I started getting that only when playing games after updating my wireless network driver

Google is no help at all, and yes I have a wireless network. Should I update those drivers again?

I had this with a totally different setup and Win7, but I found that changing the BIOS setting equivalent to "Plug'n'Play OS Installed" to NO stopped it from happening ever again. Or was it YES? I dunno, but I'm not rebooting just to find out. Just change it to its opposite, see if it works.

IRQL errors are usually either one of two things:

A: Driver Conflict (Unlikely due to Windows Re-install)
B: Bad RAM

Run a memtest and rule out the RAM before you do anything else.

QFT - Double check that your memory settings are proper and as specified in the manual - If you have the option, please set the voltage to the upper end of the recommended range. If you've overclocked, Un~do it, then troubleshoot, then re~do as necessary.
