I'm not sure it's worth buying processors compatible with the socket you use. Recommend upgrading your system to use new CPU/socket platform.

I have the same question, big spenders shut up and answer or just shut up.

I have a version 4.1 claiming to take the prescott. I stuck my smallest one, a 2.8e and dual channeled the ram to 1gb...and now no video.
starts up, cpu is warm, north bridge, memory, no beep codes...and no video...

if it worked, I'd buy 200 more just like it. :pt1cable:

I am currently here in a 633 celeron, 256mb of ram. blast from the past...
bios date, january 2000.
I wonder how many kids are telling folks to scrap thier 478..when they weren't out of diapers for the socket 370...

the prescott is good until parts can't be found....kids.
