I am trying to install a dvd burner to my system. I have plugged the sata on th

Need to know how to enable or get the computer to recognize the sata 2 and sata 3 ports. Currently have the HDD on port 0 and the first dvd drive on port 1. I have swaped the dvd and dvd burner on the port 1 location and the computer will recognize each drive on that port. Tried everything I could think of to get it to work but no luck. Any help would be great.

Make sure all of your SATA ports are actually enabled in your BIOS and that they are set to IDE mode. That should do the trick! Good luck!!
