When i am trying to connect with Hyper terminal

getting Error: Windows has reported a TAPI error (80000048). Use the Phone and Modem Options icon in the control panel to ensure that a modem is installed properly.

And, was the modem installed correctly ?


Try to test the phone line and Remove the modem in the Device manager and then reboot and let windows install the driver for it.
