More specifically, the Phenom II 720. It will most likely be put on the ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131366) and in the Thermaltake V9 Black Edition ATX Computer Gaming Chassis with Dual Oversized 230mm Ultra-Silent Cooling Fans VJ400G1N2Z Mid Tower (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133074).

I will be doing basic video editing and basic gaming, and no over clocking. I just don't know whether or not I should trust the stock fan that comes with it.

Nothing crazy like water cooling please, air cooling is good enough for me.

No overclocking? The stock cooler should be just fine for your needs. If you want a little better cooling that may be more silent, you could opt for the Freezer 64. But really the stock cooler will work just fine.
