Question about monitors...

What do I have to consider while purchasing a monitor? I know that I don't care about getting full 1080p, and I am looking for something that is 22" big (give or take an inch I don't really care). So what do you recomend? Thanks in advance for the help.

yeah, ignore the color. just new to tomshardware so im testing things out.
