Just so you know i have searched the forums, and google for the last 3 days trying to find a solution to this problem(s). I just finished building a computer for my brother, and it keeps just stopping at the AMI bios screen. I'll just start there and i'll try to answer any other questions that everyone might have.
I Dont get any beeps when booting up, and i have tried to reset the CMOS not sure if i did it right, but i did follow the MB manual for instructions on how to do it. Also i have tried reinstalling everything one at a time, i have tried booting 1 memory stick at a time. I'm lost for options, i can't get into the BIOS either.
RAM: Patriot Extreme Performance Viper Series DDR3 4GB PC3-10666
CPU: E6300 2.8ghz
MB P5E3 Deluxe WiFi
Hard drive is a Seagate 500GB Sata
The is also SATA, or whatever it's called. It's not IDE lol.
Let me know if there is anything else that you might need.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff

reset the cmos and boot with 1 stick of ram in the slot closest to the CPU and unplug any IDE or SATA devices off the motherboard and see what happens there - if you can get into the bios from there set everything manually - ram to 1:1, memory voltage to 1.9v (or more depending on ram spec) and what not
