I am putting together a build with the new Intel i5 2500k CPU and using an Asus P8P67 or the Asus P8P67 LE. I have not overclocked ever before because I have never had a good enough CPU. I am just curious as to what RAM would be the best to overclock and get the best performance from my new CPU.

I am looking to put a minimum 8GB in the system. I am looking for 2x4GB Sticks if possible. Also I have budgeted about $120 for the RAM.

Thanks in advance!

Many memory modules are dual voltage rated. The memory \voltage relates to it's stability at speed .... more voltage is req'd for higher speeds. So a memory module may be rated for example at 1.5v and 1333 Mhz and the same module at 1.65 v and 1600 MHz
