Compatible PCI-E video cards with k9n6sgm-v

Hello,
I just want to ask what are the compatible video cards (PCI-E) for this mobo,since the PCI-E runs only at x8. is radeon x1650 compatible? GF7600? Thanks for all your help.

Any PCIeX16 graphic card will fit in the socket and work, you'd have to get pretty far up into the middle/top end cards before the 8x throughput will bottleneck your graphic card. I'd say that anything up to the 9800GT/4830 wouldn't be severely bottlenecked. Of the 2 cards you mentioned both would be fine, you could go higher though.

technically any card will work on the board. but if its limited to 8x, dont go out and buy a 4870x2 as it will be severely limited. anything under the 9800GTX+/4850 should be good.

thanks guys.im a little tight on the budget, and here in the philippines, cards like Geforce series 9 and higher are still a little steep. im planning to buy 8600GT or its ATi counterpart. anyway, in a year or two i will a new system. thanks again!
