How change cd toshiba rom in notebook

Hello,
i want to change my CD ROM. please guide me. my notebook is toshiba satellite

Do a search online about CD-ROMs compatible with that laptop;
After you got the replacement, flip the laptop over, you will see a screw that holds the CD-ROM in place next to an EJECT slider on the back of the laptop. Take that screw off and eject the drive.
Take any faceplate that drive might come with and place it on the new drive, same goes for slot adapters.
Insert the new drive, put back the screw and reboot.
The laptop must be off and with the battery removed while doing all this.
