I have an AMD 64bit Dualcore Atholon X2 processor, about a month ago I rebooted my computer and I had absolutely no video output. None by DVI or VGA, on my onboard card or on my PCI card. I read my board had problems with the NIC and video dying, so i bought another (different) board. But I'm back to the same problem. Everything is hooked up, but absolutely 0 video output. No Bios, no nothing. You can hear the drives spin, lights blink, just no video.

I've tried two monitors on both board with the pci video card plugged in and with it not plugged in and hooking each monitor up to the onboard card. I've tried a VGA monitor and a Dvi monitor (both cards have both ports).

The following is the first board:

This is the one I just bought:

I'm at a utter loss, and really don't feel like dropping more cash. My system isn't beeping at me, it's not doing anything really. It sounds like it's booting up like normal, just no video output on 2 monitors, over 2 cables over 3 different video card, 2 of which are on two different motherboards.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss.

When you removed the pci video card, did you enable either motherboard's onboard VGA?

Try clearing the bios.
You have to have beeps if the motherboard is working.
Try building outside the case with the very minimum of CPU, memory and power.
Look for beeps.
Then add the video card.
