This is a very good cooler for the price. Not super-high end, but will overclock Dual and Quad cores to their limits without issues. I'd suggest getting this.

If money is no issue, this is probably the best cooler you can buy for your motherboard. Even without any fans it'll keep most CPUs in check, but put one or two fans on it and you'll rival water cooling temps.
  2. The majority of good coolers require a backplate which would require mobo removal if your case doesn't have a cpu cut-out.
More info like your ram height and case width would be very helpful.
Anyways here's some good units for mild-mid oc's that don't cost alot.
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus - usually can be found for $20

XIGMATEK Intel Core i7 compatible Dark Knight-S1283V

    CORSAIR CAFA70 - includes 2 fans

ZALMAN CNPS10X Performa - The CNPS10X line is preferable because the fans are user replaceable.

All the data ya could ask for can be found at that link.
  7. How is your case airflow? Without good airflow, your new heatsink will also run hot, limiting your overclocking capability.
