Upgrading my CPU on my Dell 630i...

Hi all,

Would it be worth (or even possible) upgrading my Q6600 in my Dell XPS 630i? If so, what is the fastest CPU my MOBO will support?

afaik, OEMS will use different mobo revision (and maybe even manuf and make!) when they make these things, may be best to find out exactly what your mobo is before you do anything, or better yet, see if dell offers a supported CPU list somewhere. Also, bios flashes may be required for this operation.
