I am running a Intel Quad 9550 and using a Asus P5Q SE Plus motherboard. I checked it at celsius and it read 28 celsius for processor and 33 celsius for the MB. Is there a gauge I can go by to judge whether or not my MB is running hot. I have had this combination for a week now and these temperatures remain constant which leads me to believe that these are normal for this combination. Please advise.

You are good to go. Those temps are excellent. I've run my system with temps in the 40's with no problems.

I have the P5Q deluxe board and looking to get the Q9550 processor. I am new at this but are you overclocking and if so can you share the numbers you are using?

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
