My LG DVD writer cannot burn DVDs

Hi , i'm using LG DVD Writer . My model is GH22NS50 . I use Nero 7 for burning purposes . But when i try to burn a DVD it strucks at 3% or so and the DVD drive led stops blinking . I earlier had this problem and i replaced it because i had a warranty . But now the same problem problem is happening for the new drive . It burns CDs , it can reads DVDS , CDs also . But it cannot burn DVDs . I tried different softwares . Please help

Have you tried burning to a different dvd media?

Also - try the drive in another system to make sure the drive is bad.
