I’m tagging my mp3 files using desktop windows media player 10. when I
download the tag from the internet using the Find Album Info option I can
perfectly see the album art on my pocket pc, but if add the album art
manually using the advanced tag editor then the album art is shown only on my
desktop, not on my pocket pc.

Any ideas?

PD: I use windows media player 10 on my pocket pc too.

Hi Andreas,
I have had the same "problem" I am actually quite surprised that this
rather simple task of displaying pictures while the music is playing
has been implemented in such a proprietary manner...
I would have liked a simple solution like placing cover. jpg into the
album folder.

I will be simply waiting for things to improve eventually.

Regards
Ryan

place any .jpg file inside of the folder that contains the music, then
rename the .jpg folder.jpg

now all of the mp3's in that folder have the .jpg attached to them as
album art

this will work for all desktop versions of windows for sure (i know,
i've tried it)

while I do not know if this works for WMP 10 for Pocket PC, I know for
a fact that album art is not supported by WMP 9 at all

try this if you would like to add album art, how to add album art
directly to specific mp3's remains a mystery to me as well
