My motherboard only supports 95watt TDP cpu's. Interestingly, I was looking at the cpu support list for my motherboard, and 2 125watt Cpu's are listed as being supported: Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core FX-62, Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 6000+. Why would these 125watt cpu's work, but say a new Phenom II 125watt cpu would not?

It's a AM2+ board. It supports the 95watt Phenom II's. I'm just curious as to why it supports some 125watt cpu's but not others...

well the 6000+actually has three different versions
v1: 3Ghz 125w TDP
v2: 3GHz 89w TDP (lower voltage)
v3: 3.1GHz 89w TDP

don't know about the FX-62 though
