Disk Boot Failure

I have read alot of these forums and still cannot find a solution.
I have Windows 98, my problem is the pc needed a new power suppy so I put one in and it worked great until I shut it down, now I get Disk boot failure.
I have gone into BIOS and checked my CMOS order and everything is set up right. I turn on the pc and I still get dik boot failure insert disk and hit start, but it doesn't do anything. I need this pc for school and can not afford another one. Any help would be appreciated.

fdisk /mbr,,also use fdisk to check hdd's partition,also double check ribbon connector and power to hdd..

Set your bios to use hdd as a primary booting device. Make sure that you don't have any usb disks inserted.
