I just got a new pc, every thing is plugged in my gtx 295 has a green light onit, but I am getting a blank screen. i have tryed 2 difrent moniter

i am running

i7
p6t delux
6 gigs of ddr 3 ram
coairsair 620 psu
1tb western digital black

it's your PSU most likely,

nvidia's PSU req for the 295 is a 680w PSU with 46A on the 12v rail.

You also have the blue light?
Green light = display correctly attached
Blue light = proper power connections attached

Your Corair 620HX has 50amps of +12V power so I think you have enough power for your GTX 295 and the rest of your system.

Is your motherboard POSTing? And as WR2 says, I'd re-check power connections. Also, try to get it to boot with an older card. Have you installed OS yet?

i have tryed changing the wiring, i am only getting one green light, I expremented with booting with dvi cable pluged in... i then tryed booting with only the basics but im still geting no signel, i have unpluged and repluged every thing in twice, im suspecting i may have a dud card or bad mobo

Do you have BOTH PSU-> MB power cables plugged into the motherboard? 24pin and 8 pin?

yes i do. it is turning on but nothing is happening
