I'm upgrading an old HP Pavilion xt926. Basically I'm using the case and some components.
The motherboard that I've purchased, but not yet installed, is an Asus M3A78-EM.
I've checked that the screw holes line up and that all connectors fit. They do, except for the front panel power/led switch.
The connector for this switched to the old A7V-ML MoBo has 7 wires & marked " Power SW/LED 5185-2416 Rev A".
The connection for the front panel switch to the new MoBo is a totally different configuration and requires a Q-connector which is supplied with the MoBo.
Does any know if there is an adapter available or where I can get hold of a new power/led switch which will fit into the xt926 case and has the right connectors on it for my new MoBo
