All of these video cards cost about the same. I was wondering which one was best or what video card you would recommend for gaming.

GIGABYTE 9800 GT (NVidia GeForce 9800 GT)
Palit 9800 GTX (NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX)
Palit 9800 GTX+ (NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+)

How much do they cost?

The 9800GTX and 9800GTX+ are basically the same, and both are better than the 9800GT.

The 9800 GT is 292NZD, the 9800 GTX is 280NZD and the 9800 GTX+ is 300NZD.

That 9800GT is a rip-off.

Wait, we have to ask for his computer specs, then act like we are making an educated decision ;).

I'm buying the video card because I'm upgrading for Windows 7.

Ok, have you gotten any of the other parts yet?

Reply to boudy

No but the specs might be:

GIGABYTE GA-EG45M-UD2H Motherboard
intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
4GB Kingston HyperX RAM (Dual Channel)
750GB HDD

9800GTX/GTX+ and the 4850 are still better than the 4770.

If he can't afford the extra $10-$20, then he should go for the 4770
