I'm putting together a new system and was wondering if I could get any thoughts on it. I'm a little hung up on the graphics card. To stay within the price range I've set for this I've sort of narrowed it down to either one gtx275 or maybe 2x gtx260s in SLI, or maybe two 4860's or perhaps one 4890 (maybe even two 4890's in crossfire...this might not be too expensive. Anyway, these may still work within my price range and was wondering which graphics card(s) would give me the best performance? The build I'm thinking of putting together is:

Intel Core i7 920
MSI X58 Pro-E motherboard
G.SKILL 6GB (3 x 2GB) DDR3 1600
Western Digital Caviar Green 750GB
OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W ATX12V V2.2
LITE-ON Black 6X Blu-Ray DVD ROM & 16X DVD±R DVD Burner
Graphics card (?)

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

One 4890 now, and another later. One is probably plenty of power to run games on your monitor, unless you have a 30". Then slap another one in after you've saved some money and graphics requirements have gone up. By that time a 4890x2 will probably be out too.

So we can pay 500 more? Never buy something like that when it comes out, i guarantee you will be overpaying.
