I'd like to oc my i5 750 to 3.8ghz from the 3.6ghz I have it at right now.I got to 3.6ghz by adjusting the baseclock and cpu multi,to 172mhz and 21x respectably. The stock voltage (1.17v) was more enough. My ram is rated at 1600mhz and my motherboard is the asus p7p55d.I set ram voltage to the recommended 1.65v.I left all the other voltages to auto.
To go further than that,I will probably need to manually set the PCH,PLL and IMC voltages. So,how should I proceed with them?

Why don't you overclock it with Turbo Boost on? You can set it 160 BCLK and x10 ram to get your ram speed and it will run up to 3.84ghz on 1 or 2 cores. With that overclock you can have all power savings and states enabled. If you don't use Turbo boost on an i5 750 it;s like overclocking any other quad core cpu on the market. Also your cpu vcore is pretty low meaning you have a good chip. I would try more BCLK with turbo ON like 165 - 170.
