Dell specs memory for dell precision 390 at DDR2 667 mhz (PC5300). I need to upgrade and want to use 800mhz sticks I have on hand. Anyone know if this will work?

It should work but dont expet to get 800Mhz speeds, normally it will default to 667 or lower depending on your mobo. I have a Dell XPS 400 at work that maxes out at 677Mhz and it is using 800Mhz modules (Patriot) and it works fine.....
