Hey everybody,

I am building a budget gaming rig using an AMD Phenom II x4 955 quad-core processor. I need an AM3 socket motherboard for around $100-130. It needs to have Crossfire capability (PCI Express 2.0 @ x16 and x8) for a pair of HD 4850s I am throwing in. It also needs to support DDR3 1600 (at least). Can anyone help by recommending a motherboard that fits these specs? Thanks. :)

If you don't have the CPU yet, you can save 30 Bucks with this combo on the ASUS mobo and the Phenom2 x4 955 BE.

You can also save some bucks if you go with DDR3 1333 in stead of 1600 you will not see real benefits for using DD3 1600 over 1333 on AM3 platform. You can read some test on this review http://www.tomshardware.com/review [...] ,2319.html .

This RAM is pretty good:

Good luck
