That's not true. I'm using an AM2 Gigabyte nforce board with onboard graphics.

The specification says,

Onboard Video
Onboard Video Chipset ATI Radeon HD3300 graphics built-in 128MB DDR3 1333MHz SidePort Memory
Onboard Audio
Audio Chipset Realtek ALC889A
Audio Channels 8 Channels

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

Hmm I thought 790x chipset meant it didn't have inbuilt gfx.

Ok! Do you find any parts missing in the above list? This is the first time I'm gonna build the system, so your inputs might help!

Thanks!

I'm gonna be building a very similar system to you, looks good but trust me if you're playing any games or really running any kind of intensive graphical software you're gonna want a graphics card... the on board graphics just cant compete..

Thanks for your reply! I can install another Graphics card in Mother Board which I bought, correct? Right now, I don't have any much ideas to play games.

Also, what is this Arctic cooling? Do I need that cooling component?

Why was my contribution selected as best answer? o.o All I did was suggest a different monitor.
